offering the School Breakfast Program?

The first ever Connecticut School Breakfast Summit will be held on Friday, May 4, 2012, at Rentschler Field, East Hartford. Don’t miss a day of learning about how the USDA-funded School Breakfast Program can foster continued excellence and academic achievement in Connecticut schools.

“I feed hungry kids every day; my goal is to ensure that no kid goes hungry. Winning Chopped was an unbelievable and humbling experience. The kids are the real champions’ here.” says Chef Cheryl. “Thanks to the commitment from my fellow Local 217 workers and from New Haven Public Schools I am able to feed these kids the nutrition that they need. The most important meal of the day for them is a good, hearty breakfast.”
