Sound School & NH School Food team up to feed kids!

Today is a great day in New Haven! The students from the Sound School are harvesting salad greens from the Pardee Greenhouses that were grown hydroponically. The students delivered the greens to Columbus Family Academy where the AWESOME food service workers cleaned them and will add them tot he salad bar. This is TEAMWORK at it's finest; the students are receiving a lifelong lesson as well; getting their hands dirty by growing food to serve to their fellow students; it doesn't get more fresh or local than this!
