DAVIS STREET SCHOOL TAKES CMT TESTS TO A NEW LEVEL

Davis Street School Connects CMT’s with CMT’s (Chefs Move To Schools)!

 

What: In conjunction with the end of National School Breakfast Week and the Connecticut Mastery Test; Davis Street School teamed up with New Haven School Food Services to bring a dynamic program into the school. Working with Michelle Obama’s Chefs Move to Schools Program, UCONN Dietetics Program, Yale University Lacrosse Team and the School Nutrition Association’s School Breakfast Detective’s contest the children will listen to two speakers talking about the importance of physical activity and healthy eating.

Prizes will also be awarded to the students who participated and won the school level “School Breakfast Detective” Book Cover contest. The top three winners will be entered into a national contest.
