Description: The Department of Agriculture's (USDA) Food and Nutrition Service invites you to participate in this one-hour webinar to learn more about how chefs and schools are working together to help children make healthier food and beverage choices.Our February 24th Chefs Move to Schools Webinar generated so much interest that we are hosting this second webinar to answer some of the most commonly asked questions as well as provide time for participating chefs and schools to ask any additional questions they have about Chefs Move to Schools.
Our question and answer panel will include:
• Sam Kass, White House Assistant Chef and the Food Initiative Coordinator;
• Janey Thornton, US Department of Agriculture, Deputy Under Secretary Food and Nutrition Service;
• Garrett Berdan, RD, Chef volunteering at Schools in the Bend LaPine School District in Bend, Oregon;
